French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) is proud to announce the recent appointments of two community leaders to our Foundation Board of Directors.
Myraline Morris Whitaker and Reese Davies have joined the 23 member all volunteer Board. Whitaker is the owner/principal of Central Coast of California Hospitality, a hotel management company. Whitaker also founded and oversees the Sister Soldier Project, which sends hair care packages to female soldiers of color serving in the Middle East.
Reese Davies is the President and Chief Administrative Officer of Founders Community Bank. He has been a San Luis Obispo resident his entire life graduating from San Luis Obispo Senior High School in 1960. Davies has spent the past 40 years serving on community and foundation boards. .
The FHMC Foundation Board is dedicated to supporting the charitable and community health care mission of the hospital through fundraising and relationship building. These directors represent our community and business leaders, medical staff, and hospital leadership. The Foundation solicits philanthropic gifts, provides stewardship of these gifts, and grants funds to the hospital to advance the community's access to health care.
