Employee Caring Circle
French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) is proud to announce that 125 of its employees have pledged more than $39,000 to the 2010 Employee Caring Circle. Donations from the Employee Caring Circle support special projects that benefit the hospital’s patients, visitors and staff. This year’s campaign has been the most successful in FHMC’s history, with more employees participating to pledge more than ever before.
Over the past four years, the Employee Caring Circle has raised a staggering $120,000 to support patient-related services. Past support from the Employee Caring Circle helped create FHMC’s Healing Garden, a beautiful place that employees, patients, and visitors can enjoy. The Employee Caring Circle also funded the hospital’s Fitness Zone, which features a set of outdoor fitness equipment and walking trails for staff, visitors and the public to use.
The 2009 Employee Caring Circle fund will soon go toward a remodel of the FHMC’s cafeteria to better serve the needs of patients, visitors and staff that use the space every day. The cafeteria will be more user-friendly, feature new healthy options, and incorporate credit and debit payment options.
