2010 Annual Report Celebrates the Power of Philanthropy
French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) Foundation is proud to release its second annual report to the community. Power of Philanthropy 2010 chronicles the achievements of the Foundation during 2010, highlighting the power of philanthropy in making a difference for the community. The stories reflect the passion and commitment of our donors to improve health care access, enhance educational opportunities, provide new technology, and bring new services to our patients. The report also features financial information from the Foundation’s fiscal year ending June 30, 2010, photos from special events, and most importantly, a record of its donors who have helped transform FHMC over the past year. The FHMC Foundation is a non-profit public benefit organization with the purpose to raise funds for FHMC, San Luis Obispo’s only not for profit hospital. The Foundation seeks community support for its programs through charitable contributions for the betterment of community health care. Since its inception in 2005, the FHMC Foundation has raised over $12 million for patient care programs and services.
