Start a Birthday Fundraiser and make an impact!
Do you have a birthday coming up? Consider holding a birthday fundraiser on Facebook for the French Hospital Foundation! You can also host a fundraiser for other special occasions or just to support the hospital.
There’s no cost or fees and 100% of donations will go directly towards supporting our patients. Every donation has an impact on our patients and the local community!
Get started: Creating a Facebook fundraiser
- Go to Facebook Fundraisers
- Tap Select Nonprofit - Search for and select French Hospital Medical Center Foundation
- Fill in details and set a goal
- Tap Create
- Follow the prompts to share your fundraiser or invite your friends to donate!
Promote your fundraiser!
- Announce your fundraiser! Share it or include a link to your fundraiser page. Make sure to share on other social media channels too, like Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn (be sure to include a link to your fundraiser).
- Post updates! Did you hit the halfway mark toward your goal or another important dollar amount? Share and keep your network invested in reaching your goal.
- Create a short video sharing why you are raising funds - is it for your birthday, in honor of someone? Share your inspiration to inspire others.
- Go live on Facebook Live! Live videos often get more attention. Go to your fundraiser and in the post status box, select "Live Video" to start recording!
- Share thank you posts! Celebrate your donors by tagging them in posts expressing your gratitude.
