“Hope Gives Us Wings” Original Art Installation

Support the power of healing art for cancer patients in the Hearst Cancer Resource Center at French Hospital! This stunning Angel Wings art installation was created by local artist Kathleen McKinnon, a cancer survivor herself. These colorful wings are made in Kathleen’s unique style blending paint with mixed media papers. Her process for creating the wings reflects the layers of emotions experienced during a cancer journey, from diagnosis through survivorship. Following the tradition of other Angel Wings at French Hospital, the winning bidder(s) will be donating this sculpture back to the hospital to be permanently placed in the Hearst Cancer Resource Center, offering healing and comfort to cancer patients and others visiting the Center. The winning bidder(s) generosity will be recognized with a permanent plaque next to the art.
