Hospital leadership works in partnership with the Foundation Board of Directors to identify priorities and authorize the allocation of these funds.

Advanced Technology & Innovation
French Hospital is dedicated to continual investment in cutting-edge technology, new devices, tools, equipment, and innovative practices. Your support allows us to go further, ensuring patients have access to the latest advanced technology right here on the Central Coast. Benefits of advanced technology include less invasive procedures, shorter recovery times, and reduced travel, keeping patients and loved ones close to home where care is needed most.

Beyond Health
The Beyond Health Campaign supporting Your New French Hospital will transform medicine on the Central Coast. The project includes a new Patient Care Tower featuring single patient rooms, an expanded ICU, a new Imaging Center, expanded services, and much more. This will allow us to double our capacity to care for more complex conditions and an aging population, recruit the best physicians to our area, and provide the care our community needs locally for decades to come.

Cardiac Care
As a Center of Excellence for Cardiac Care, French Hospital is the STEMI Receiving Center for SLO County. When a STEMI (acute heart attack) occurs, first responders bring patients directly to French Hospital, bypassing other facilities. Our nationally recognized Copeland, Forbes & Rossi Cardiac Care Center includes leading heart care specialists, expert staff, and advanced facilities. The Center also boasts the two most advanced cardiac catheterization labs between Los Angeles and San Francisco, providing a broader range of minimally invasive procedures than are otherwise available locally. Donor support paves the way for continual advancements in cardiac care.

Hearst Cancer Resource Center (HCRC)
