Hearst Cancer Resource Center - Patient Navigation Program To support the Hearst Cancer Resource Center’s Patient Navigation Program, which provides cancer patients with vital patient navigation services from either a trained oncology nurse or a bilingual lay patient navigator. Patient Navigators guide cancer patients through their cancer journey, providing guidance on the health care system and treatment options, assisting with medical appointments, and offering much needed support and comfort. The program also provides transportation assistance to cancer patients in need. This program is made possible by generous grant support from the Avon Foundation and The Hearst Foundation. |
