Dignity Health Hospitals Leverage New AI platform called ERAdvisor to Improve Patient Experience in Emergency Departments

CENTRAL COAST, Calif., Sept. 10, 2024 – Dignity Health’s Central Coast hospitals are improving the patient experience in their emergency departments with the implementation of Vital’s ERAdvisor, a cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform.

ERAdvisor has been successfully implemented at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, and today, French Hospital Medical Center in San Luis Obispo has rolled it out.

The ERAdvisor platform provides patients with real-time updates and tools throughout their visit, offering a more transparent and informed experience. The platform, which requires no account or app download, sends personalized updates to patients' phones, keeping them informed about their progress and estimated wait times.

"We are thrilled to offer this innovative tool to our patients," says Nathasha Lukasiewich, Director of Emergency Services at French Hospital Medical Center. "ERAdvisor provides patients with a clear understanding of their care journey, including estimated wait times based on real-time analytics."

ERAdvisor's advanced AI technology delivers accurate wait time predictions for each phase of the emergency department visit, enhancing patient satisfaction and reducing anxiety.

"ERAdvisor is user-friendly and will also improve access to Dignity Health patient portals, further enhancing the overall patient experience," adds Lukasiewich.
